Sundance Film Festival

I was my hubby's plus one for the sundance festival in utah!  He had a film in the festival so we got credentials to attend all the fun activities and screenings!  My biggest complaint about sundance is that I had to wear sorel boots which made being fashionable difficult.  You are out all day running around, catching shuttles and walking the streets.  I did see a few gals in heels which looked awkward as they had patches of ice to contend with and catching a shuttle was challenging for them. So the sorels did me right.

Saw a very inspiring documentary that HBO bought.  It is about Kevin Pearce, olympic hopeful of snowboarding.  He rose to fame with his snowboarding talent, even beating out shaun white in many competitions.  While training in park city utah ( just a mile away from where we were screening the movie), he fell on the 22 foot half pipe and suffered a major brain injury.  The movie documents how his family got him through this ordeal and how his life is totally changed now.  The best part was after them movie, the actual family was there!  I couldn't hold back the tears!  Very inspiring and moving.  The crash reel.

Back to my so so outfit.  Vintage coat, american apparel velour leggings, vintage 80s striped sweater, and sorels.  Gucci sunnies, h&m bag, and american apparel head band.

XO Lisa

How fun Sundance!! Love the vintage fur. I'm huge Sorel fan, they're pretty stylish for the purpose they serve!
